Contest details

• Information, the entry form, and safe silage sampling instructions are at www.connoragriscience.com/wae-sealpro-forage-contest. Entry deadline is January 3, 2020. Samples must be received in Clovis by January 10, 2020.

• Categories for the Sealpro®-customers-only contest are 2019 Corn Silage, Alfalfa Haylage, and Winter Forage. Prizes for 1st - $500, 2nd - $250, 3rd - $100 will be awarded in each.

• Contest judges are independent nutritionists. 

• Placings will be determined by physical sample, lab analysis, and a photo of the pile/bunker’s full face. 

• All samples, analysis, and photos will be displayed at the Connor Agriscience booth, and entries will not be identified until after awards are given.

• Our agents (Eddie Mello, Stan Marks, John Dykzeul, Joe Martin, and Ron) are ready to help with sampling and getting samples to us.

• Results will be announced at the Connor Agriscience booth, DS 105, 106 at noon, Tuesday, February 11, during World Ag Expo. Winners need not be present, but it would be nice.

Special "You Be the Judge"

• A special “You Be the Judge” Contest will test your client's forage evaluation skills. 

• They'll place the four anonymous samples displayed at the Connor Agriscience booth in the correct order. 

• Along with an individual category, cash awards will be given to the top 4-H Club and FFA Chapter teams. 

• Ties will be determined by a draw.

• Winners will be announced at the Connor Agriscience booth, DS 105, 106 at noon on Thursday, February 13.
