Get done sealing quicker with less frustration!
Sealing silage is an out-of-routine job, done only once, twice and occasionally three times per year. It's the final step in making great silage. If you’re doing it yourself, don't hurry and short yourself on this last detail. Take the time to do it right. See our video below.
Simple system for applying two layers using a pallet and forklift - Sealpro® and Coverpro® in one pull.
Front loader forklift rack system - both films cradled. Sealpro® on bottom, Coverpro® on top. Easily pull both layers at the same time.
Sealpro PROTECT® and Sealpro TITANIUM®’s trademarked EasyApp® trait allows film to be applied across the pile or bunker, then pulled in an accordion fashion right over the surface. Coverpro® is folded the same way. Set up the rolls on a simple system (left) or on a special front loader forklift rack (right) and apply both layers at one time (see video below).
Windy weather? Applying both at the same time provides weight without being heavy. Keeping the film low to the surface (as seen in the video) and pulling patiently keep films from whipping.
Once applied, place tires or other weight on the pile to avoid billowing and luffing.
Taking a break for rain or waiting for the back 40 to dry? Seal the partial pile with Sealpro® and Coverpro®.
